Saint Bernard's Shawl Ministry is a group of people that gather to knit or crochet together in a prayerful setting. These shawls are then distributed to new moms or to those who are ill or otherwise in distress. They are blessed and prayed over, and come with the prayers and good wishes of those who created them, as well as the prayers and good wishes of the whole parish.
Knitting lessons can also be provided. If you would like to join this group, please come to the Parish Center after the 9:00 am Mass on Thursday mornings.
If you would like further information, fill in the form below.
All are welcome.
"The Shawl Ministry is a chance to share my God given talents. Each item
is made with thoughtfulness and love. It's meant to give warmth and
hope to people in need, or to someone who may be celebrating a wonderful
life event. We meet once a week to pray for our intentions and for all
the people who have received the work of our heart and hands. It's also
a time for exchanging patterns and ideas as well some of our life
experiences. It's a wonderful time of sharing not only with others but
with each other."
