Staff Member: Pat McDonough
Pat McDonough brings to St. Bernard's a thirty year career as a Catholic educator and school psychologist in the Diocese of Rockville Centre. Her experience in pastoral ministry spans years as a Director of Religious Education in several Long Island parishes, Coordinator of Marriage Preparation in the Diocesan Office of Family Ministry, teacher of psychology and theology in our Catholic high schools and colleges, and fifteen years in Youth and Young Adult Ministry.
For twelve years, Pat authored a popular column in The Long Island Catholic called Family Faith. She has also written about issues of human development, family life and spirituality in The New York Times, Newsday, and other periodicals.
