The Friends of the Poor Walk is a meaningful community event to raise awareness and support for neighbors facing hardship across Long Island. More than just a fundraiser, the walk brings people together in a spirit of compassion, service, and solidarity, helping SVDPLI continue its mission of providing food, clothing, financial assistance, and hope to individuals and families in need. Every step taken helps strengthen the organization’s ability to serve the poor and vulnerable with dignity and care.

Our Vincentians will invite you to contribute to the Friends of the Poor Walk next weekend, September 12-13!  You will find an envelope in your pew; Vincentians will be outside to accept your donation!

All donations stay right here in Levittown!  Let us know if you would like to walk with our Conference!  The walk will take place  at Heckscher State Park on Saturday, September 26th, with check-in time at 9am.
