Boy Scouts
Troop 316 is chartered by Saint Bernard's Church. The troop is open to boys who have completed fifth grade to age 18. The troop meets most Tuesday nights from 7:30pm to 8:30pm in the parish center. Besides weekly meetings, the scouts are involved in a number of parish activities including being the honor guard for the Holy Thursday procession, helping at the annual Craft Market, doing various service projects. Some of our scouts are altar servers. Scouting Activities include hiking, camping, service projects (leaf raking, food drives, planting beach grass). Each Memorial Day the scouts plant flags at Veteran's grave sites and they march in the Memorial Day Parade. For more information on becoming a Boy Scout, fill in the form below.
