As children grow they become more aware of themselves, their world and their spiritual life.
Can you recall a childhood experience where you were especially aware of God's love for you?
Children in Levels Three, Four and Five who have already begun to receive Jesus in Communion can be especially open to a spiritual relationship with Jesus, with his mother Mary and the other saints. They can come to appreciate belonging to the church family, especially when they see their parents (along with their parents' friends) being involved -- not just by coming to the Eucharist each Sunday -- but also by volunteering for different family-friendly activities in the parish community. As part of their Mass experience, children in Levels Three, Four, and Five have received Mass reflections cards. These reflection cards need to be completed and submitted at a Sunday (or Saturday night) Mass during the offertory.

We're glad your children in these "middle years" are part of our Family Faith Formation experience. We will be using the Sadlier "We Believe" Textbook Series as the material for our class time as it prepares them to be engaged by the Gospel of Jesus -- something they'll encounter on Sundays at Mass, but also something that will be really living in their daily lives.
