Our Family Faith Formation program begins in October and runs through May.

We offer a program that has three major components:
Sunday Mass
Going to "religion class" without coming to celebrate Mass each week is like going to baseball practice but never showing up for the game. Or just watching your team play over the internet. Celebrating the Eucharist is the most important way to grow in our faith in Jesus and grow in community with each other. All Level students are required to submit a minimum of 10 mass reflection/good deed coupons at a Sunday mass. Masses are Saturday 5pm • Sundays 8am • 10am • 12noon.
Family Meetings
These take place four times during the year. The whole family attends the meeting in church together. The meetings take less than an hour and are led by presenting couples who guide families in sharing faith together. Each member of the family submits a follow-up assignment. You can choose which session you'd like to attend with your whole family each month:
Monday 6pm or 7pm; Wednesday 6pm or 7pm.
There may be no children classes during the week that family meetings are held. Please check your child's individual level calendar for details.
Children's Classes
These take place in our school and are arranged by age levels and prior faith formation level completed.
Level One and Level Two Communion preparation• Classes are on Saturday mornings at 9:00 am OR 10:15 am.
Levels Three, Four, and Five (Older Student Communion preparation Levels One and Two are on Wednesday only) • Classes are at 5pm on Mondays OR Wednesdays.
Level Six, Level One Confirmation, and Level Two Confirmation • Classes are at 7pm on Mondays OR Wednesdays.
Please contact us directly regarding our Special Needs Program for children who would benefit from special accommodations. This program meets on Saturdays.
In addition to the regular classes there are sometimes special gatherings, retreat days, parent meetings, etc. to enrich and round out the faith formation experience.
Please note that all Sacraments require a minimum of TWO years of in class preparation.
Students that have not completed prior levels of instruction will be placed in our program after an evaluation and may be required to complete a catch-up program (this is an additional fee).
The fees collected cover only a percentage of the cost of providing our Faith Formation Program for families. We are grateful to the regular contributions of parishioners which allow us to cover the rest of our expenses.

One child: $200
Two children: $280
Three or more children: $390
The Family Faith Formation Office is located in the white building called the "Clairvaux House" Building H on our campus. (Clairvaux was the town Saint Bernard was from.) Feel free to call or email the office with any questions you might have. Enrollment in our program is done online. Before you begin the enrollment process, you will need to have your child's baptism certificate available to upload during the registration process. All families participating in our Faith Formation program are required to be registered parishioners in St. Bernard's parish. This is a separate registration from Faith Formation.
