Baptism Ministry
As families prepare to bring their children up to 7 years of age to be baptized, we gather with them first at Mass, followed by a bagel breakfast and some conversation with other parents about the joys and challenges of Christian parenting.
There is room on our team for couple facilitators, especially couples who have children under 10 years of age. Other team members (teens or adults) provide child care for older children who are attending with their parents, or shop for and host coffee and bagels.
Catholic Daughters of America
The Catholic Daughters of the Americas invite you to join in their Mission of promoting Unity and Charity. They embrace the principle of faith working through love in the promotion of justice, equality and the advancement of human rights and human dignity for all.

Consolation Ministry
St. Bernard's Co
nsolation Ministry serves our community by accompanying grieving families as they journey in faith through the wake and funeral of a loved one. We assist the family in planning the funeral Mass and welcome mourners to the church, we customize a Mass booklet to help mourners participate more fully, and one of our bakers gifts the family with a cake to have on hand during the days of the wake and funeral.
This ministry is done by dedicated volunteers who are selected and trained according to the gifts and talents they have to serve in this ministry.
