St. Bernard's Co
nsolation Ministry serves our community by accompanying grieving families as they journey in faith through the wake and funeral of a loved one. We assist the family in planning the funeral Mass and welcome mourners to the church, we customize a Mass booklet to help mourners participate more fully, and one of our bakers gifts the family with a cake to have on hand during the days of the wake and funeral.
This ministry is done by dedicated volunteers who are selected and trained according to the gifts and talents they have to serve in this ministry.
