About Father John
Father John grew up in Levittown while a parishioner at Saint James in Seaford. He attended Holy Trinity High School and then served our nation in the Navy for 20 years. Upon leaving the Navy, he entered the seminary and was ordained a priest and has served in different parishes (and as chaplain to his high school alma mater). Among his recent assignments, Father John was pastor of Our Lady of Mercy in Hicksville and then served two parishes in Suffolk County (St Francis of Assisi in Greenlawn and St Anthony of Padua in East Northport) before becoming pastor of Saint Bernard's in June 2025.
