About Diane
Pastoral Associate Diane Vella has served at St. Bernard’s since 2007. (A little-known factoid is that she actually served here part-time in Youth Ministry way back in 1983-84.) Diane is known for challenging and engaging people as they share and explore faith in her adult classes and discussion groups, and leaving them wanting more. She oversaw several parish programs, including our Baptism, Welcome, Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults for both adults and youth (RCIA), and Consolation ministries. Diane is good at organizing, planning, and training for all sorts of things --all with the goal of inspiring people to embrace our parish mission of bringing the Gospel of Jesus to the Levittown community and beyond. Diane retired from full time ministry in the summer of 2023 but continues her involvement on a part time basis at Saint Bernard's.
